Canada Motorhomes - travel at your own pace
Whether you are looking for the midnight sun of the Yukon, the majesty
of the Canadian Rockies, the bustle of Toronto, discovering Ontario’s
lakelands, Québec’s special French character or the peace and tranquility
of Atlantic Canada, a motorhome from The Independent Traveller is
a unique way to see Canada. Perhaps one of the nicest things about
a motor home holiday is that they are extremely popular with Americans
and Canadians alike and you will meet some interesting people around
the camp fire at night.
Choosing a suitable Motorhome
have been helping clients for over 30 years match their needs with
the types of motor homes available. Over the years one guiding principle
has become self-evident “think of the size you need and pick the next
size up”. It should be remembered that the vehicle you pick is not
only your means of transportation, but also your home.
We primarily offer the premier plan which includes VIP insurance, preparation charges, convenience kits, local
taxes and charges at the time of booking, full vehicle demonstration and training, transfer to and from
airport hotels (subject to conditions) and a specified mileage plan.
Deluxe van conversion
Super van conversion
This is the smallest van we regularly sell and is suitable for two adults. As you would expect, compact, but with many of the features of our larger motor homes. Please note that these vehicles generally have no gas oven, but come equipped with a microwave oven.
Slightly larger and suitable for two adults and two small children with more facilities. This vehicle has a fully functioning oven and a shower and comes complete with its own heating system, especially useful at the beginning and end of the season
Substantially larger and suitable for up to four adults and two small children. It incorporates top quality features including enhanced air conditioning, full cooking facilities and microwave. Couples travelling for an extended period often find the extra room is worth the extra cost.
The largest motor home we sell giving the maximum amount of space and suitable for four adults and two older children. All the facilities of the smaller models are clearly incorporated with the addition that the high ceilings of approximately 7ft give an extremely spacious feel to these vehicles.
Remember to discuss your planned route so that we can ensure you have pre-bought sufficient kilometres to cover your needs. Remember to plan your trip ahead and in peak times ensure that you pre-book your campsites to guarantee that you are able to access the prime locations.
Enjoy the freedom of the road, meet new friends and experience the great Canadian
Please note: All descriptions of motor homes are given as a guide only. Using a variety of suppliers and motorhome manufacturers there will be small discrepancies between what is included in individual motor home types.
