Day 1 - Toronto
Arrive into the vibrant city of Toronto from one of nine airports in the UK and transfer to your downtown hotel.
Days 2/3 - Toronto
Explore the unique and charming neighbourhoods of Toronto which are brimming with excitement and home to scores of attractions. With iconic architecture and enticing nightlife and performing arts, the city is always on!
Day 4 - Niagara Falls
Two options today: you could participate in our Niagara Falls day trip, details on page 39 and return to Toronto this evening. Alternatively you can pick up a car and start your fly drive adventure following our detailed DIY Niagara Falls tour. If you follow the second option you will stay at Niagara Falls, home to a wealth of activities and ways to experience the Falls by land, air or water.
Day 5 - Elmira
From either starting point a short drive to the Elmira/St Jacobs area, home of Ontario’s thriving Mennonite community. St Jacobs is also home to Canada’s largest year-round farmer’s market, with hundreds of vendors bringing Ontario's farm-fresh foods and crafts every Thursday and Saturday. Overnight in the Elmira area.
Days 6/7 - Georgian Bay
A short drive north to Georgian Bay on spectacular Lake Huron. Home to the longest freshwater beach in the world at 14km long at Wasaga Beach, Georgian Bay boasts stunning scenery and attractions to discover on the way such as the Scenic Caves in Collingwood where you can venture deep inside the mountain and explore the labyrinth of caves.
Days 8/9 - Ontario’s Cottage Country
Drive to the area in and around Haliburton to view the multitude of pristine lakes set in the wooded environment, many of which have small lodges and/or cabin resorts. The variety of activities in this area include Johnston’s Cranberry Marsh, golf, spas and excellent dining.
Days 10/11 – Ottawa
Drive to the nation’s capital, Ottawa, through Ontario’s rural heartland. Discover a whole host of activities and attractions in Ottawa including The Parliament Buildings and the ByWard Market. Uncover the history of Canada at the many fine galleries and museums such as the Canadian Museum of History, Canada Aviation and Space Museum and the Canadian War Museum. Discover your adventurous side whilst rafting on the Ottawa River!
Days 12/13 - Kingston/Belleville
Explore the 1000 Islands region by air or water from the gateways of Kingston, Rockport or Gananoque. Visit the stunning Boldt Castle on Heart Island and discover it’s fascinating history. The oldest city in Ontario and the first capital of Canada, Kingston is a hub of culture and full of surprises from the classic architecture to the buzzing pubs and bars.
Day 14 - Homeward Bound
Drive back to Toronto for your overnight flight to the UK.
